CBA Presents: "Ruling Our Narrative"

On September 6th, 2019 the Congressional Black Associates hosted a professional development communications panel titled “Ruling Our Narrative.” The panel discussion comprised of communications and media professionals on and off Capitol Hill giving their insight on how to cultivate a successful career within the media.

The panel comprised of:

Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, author, political analyst and Sociology Professor at Georgetown.

Tiffany Cross, Co-Founder, Managing Editor and Curator of The Beat DC.

Meaghan Lynch Esq, Press Secretary to 2020 Presidential Candidate Senator Kamala Harris and former communications Director and Counsel for U.S. House of Representative G.K. Butterfield. (D-NC)

Richard Fowler, Fox news contributor and host of radio’s Fowler show.

Latoya Veal, Vice President at Edelman former Communications Director to Congresswoman Maxine Waters.

And moderator, Cameron Trimble, Principal at Precision Strategies & Co-Founder of Men of Color in Communications
