On August 4, 2016 CBA hosted an all-day, professional development conference that convened the best and brightest bipartisan and bicameral Capitol Hill Staffers who are serious about perfecting their craft and maximizing their impact. 


Participants Learned from the experts how to craft the perfect resume for Capitol Hill and beyond. From content, formatting, and points to highlight; Guest learned how a resume and cover letter should clearly communicate skills and experience in a way that’s appealing to potential employers. 


Senior Capitol Hill Staffers met one on one with other staffers to review resume's and offer professional advice for advancing on the Hill.

Capitol Hill gives birth to some of the nation's best government affairs professionals and political operatives. In this session how former hill staffers leveraged their legislative expertise, knowledge of the legislative process and their professional contacts to help advance their careers to the next level. 

Session Three - Personal Finance for Hill Staff: Developing Responsible Financial Practices

Participants learned how to reduce and avoid debt, budget with intention, build an emergency fund, invest intelligently and how the Congressional Federal Credit Union can help Congressional staffers and their families reach their financial goals.
